Visit The Fort Worth Zoo on your eco vacation!

If your in Fort Worth, Texas on an Ecological vacation or here for a conference then a great place to visit is the Fort Worth, Zoo. This North Texas Zoo has been voted one of the top ten Zoos in the United States. This is because of the great staff, educational events, and fundraisers that are held at The Fort Worth Zoo.

How does someone take an eco friendly trip to the Fort Worth Zoo by bus? The Fort Worth Transit Authority offers the Safari Shuttle on Saturdays. This starts at 9:15 in the morning. The last bus back to ITC is at 6:45. You can catch a bus at either locations every half hour.
What if you are not staying downtown on your Eco Vacation?

Courtyard Fort Worth Downtown/Blackstone
Take the #15 to the ITC stop and then catch the number 07. This bus will take you through downtown to the bus stop that starts at the drive of the Fort Worth Zoo. You would then have to walk from the bus stop to the zoo entrance. 

From Inwood/Love Field Station in Dallas
Take the TRE to Fort Worth and then take the number 07 to the zoo

From Dallas Love Field
Take Dallas 524 to the dart, take the dart to the TRE, TRE to the ITC and transfer to the 007

From the Dallas International Airport
Take the Dallas 802/803 to the TRE, take the TRE to ITC in Fort Worth, and transfer to the 007.

Be sure to bring a lot of change while traveling ecologically through Dallas and Fort Worth. Fort Worth Transit Authority does offer a public transportation app if you are going to spend a lot of time on vacation in Fort Worth. You can find and download this transportation at GoPass
